Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 Mark Muschett - Last updated April 20, 2001 Installation: The Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 manual is 16 pages long, mostly because it covers the instructions in several languages. It includes clear set-up instructions including a page on how to configure two ProMedia 2.1 systems as a 4.2 system (which is really nothing beyond keeping both control modules to the front speakers for maximum convenience). Like most 2.1 systems, the installation is extremely simple. It's a matter of connecting the satellites to subwoofer using the attached wires, attaching the control module to the subwoofer/amplifier via a mini-DIN connection, a mini-jack to the sound card line out, connect the power cord to an outlet then correctly place the satellites. Then you power up the system, set the volume and bass level on the control module and enjoy. |
